Tom Reynolds R-NY, forthright and upfront about Mark Foley.

For those not in the know, Tom Reynolds was one of the congressmen who knew about Mark Foley’s escapades months, if not years before it came out. This is Republican leadership in action dodging questions, and hiding behind children.

I guess they just don’t make leaders like they used to:

    The Kennedy comments were made in the context
    of a burgeoning middle class that felt all was right
    in the world and things could only get better. That
    status of the middle class is under attack and eroding
    and the confidence and ability to consider things in
    this way is diminishing. That ambience will probably never return in the same form and will probably be studied by students of history in order
