This whole issue is interesting. But it seems to me that simply looking at the relative incidence of Prostrate Cancer in Mexico and Thailand versus England and France would reveal whether this theory has merit. Anybody know where I could find such statistics??

Where in <a href="http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N15414885.htm" rel="nofollow">the article</a> does it say this? I don't see that statement. I would be curious to see this research.

None the less I agree with and try to live by the principle "moderation in all things even moderation itself".

Of course my tabasco consumption habits do border on excessive. I will give you that. I am just another guinea pig in the game of life. If I die an early death and they do an autopsy I am sure I will be a case study in the effects of extensive lifetime consumption of spicy foods and tabasco.

You conveniently left out the part in the article that also said spicy food has been linked to stomach cancer & other such ailments. I like spicy food, as I like beer, but moderation of both is probably healthiest.
